My story:
As far back as 6th grade I remember obsessing about my weight. Even though I was a peanut I was terrified to weigh over 100lbs.
Can you relate?
I didn’t want any of the perks that came with growing up. Summer mornings were spent working out along with Denise Austin on Exercise TV to stay thin then forcing my friends to play “gym class”.
The positive takeaway is that apparently I always wanted to be an instructor!
I had high hopes of being a dance major in college but I quickly realized the “freshmen 15” I had gained wasn’t welcome in the dance world when my instructor pinched my love handle during barre work.
Beyond humiliating.
Having a baby is terrifying for so many reasons but I was especially scared that my body would be so far out of my control that I would gain weight and never be able to lose it.
Luckily that fear faded as I completely changed my lifestyle years ago.
:: THE NEW ME ::
+ I eat whole real foods to nourish my body. Diet food is a thing of the past.
+ I learned to accept + love my body no matter what my size or weight
+ I embrace a lifestyle of healthy food and fitness
